Social justice and feminist issues have always been at the core of her interests of both research and activism. She has a BA in Social Sciences and Economics, as well as an MSc in Labour, Social Movements and Development (SOAS, London). During her Masters, she specialized in domestic work issues, which she also pursued professionally while working  at the International Labour Organization (ILO, Geneva) in the project “Decent Work for Domestic Workers”.
