Daniela Cherubini is a sociologist in the field of cultural sociology, gender studies and qualitative research. She holds a PhD in Sociology and social research methodology, and in Women’s and gender studies. Anna Di Bartolomeo holds a Ph.D. in Demography from the University of Rome “Sapienza”. She was also educated at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock and the Institute National d’Etudes Démographiques in Paris.

Giulia Garofalo Geymonat is a sociologist in the fields of labour, gender, and sexuality. Her previous research has focused on social movements and intimate labour, especially in relation to issues of sex work, migration/trafficking, and disabilities.

She received her B.A. in cinema at the D.A.M.S (University of Bologna) and D.E.A (University of Paris VII-Denis Diderot), with a dissertation on the debate on equality/difference in the Italian feminisms of the 1970s. She is the co-founder of InteRGRace (Interdisciplinary Group on Race and Racisms, www.intergrace.it), and she is in the Editorial Board of Zapruder, Rivista di storia della conflittualità sociale.
