Gabriela Alvarado is a social researcher and an activist feminist. She has a bachelor of arts in Political Science and International Relations. She recently finished a Master in Sociology from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), Ecuador. She´s interested in gender, frontiers, migration, domestic work and labor topics.  Her last research work was an analysis on the unequal dynamics of labor insertion of colombian women refugees at the north frontier of Ecuador. Gabriela belongs to the Labor studies group and the Migration, social inequalities and globalization group from FLACSO, Ecuador.
